Hi All Members- I want to make sure you all put down September 9th as our first mosaic meeting this year after our summer break.
Sept. meeting on the 9th at Rachel Arntson’s house. We will each make
an 8”x8” or 16”x16” mosaic in warm colors. These can be shown at the meeting and hopefully we can have these grouped at our next show. Speaking of our next show, we do not have a firm show lined up for 2016 but we do have a submission in to the Phipps Gallery.
This is what we know so far:
Thank you for submitting your work to The Phipps 2015 Annual Call for Artists. All submissions will be juried after our July 1 deadline, by members of the Visual Arts Council, which is comprised of artists, arts professionals, and art enthusiasts from the area. All submitting artists will be notified by e-mail of the jury's decision on or before October 31, 2015.
Lisa will post our next meeting on our blog site and if anyone needs directions to Rachel’s house let me know.
