Elizabeth Kitchell-Rockstad

Elizabeth Kitchell-Rockstad creates custom mosaics for residential and public settings, conducts school residencies and community projects and teaches mosaic workshops at her art studio, in Northwest Minnesota.  Elizabeth works primarily in glass and tile, but recently has begun incorporating found objects and beads.  When not at the studio, she can be found helping on the family farm and spending time at the lake with her husband and two girls. In her free time, Elizabeth raises miniature donkeys and countless farm cats! 

After teaching K-12th grade art for 16 years, Elizabeth took a leap of faith and opened her own art studio, Studio 4:13.  She has worked with many groups and enjoys the artistic process of creating...from design and brainstorming, all the way through to installation.
